Te Van A Conocer Compa
A special annual competition, Te Van a Conocer Compa or ¨They´re going to get know you, friend¨, was started in 2008 and designed to showcase the best coffee of the region. Supported by some big traders and roasters, the competition has helped Capucas coffee become more widely known and has strengthened the relationship between the Coop and international buyers. The event has also inspired other origin coffee competitors around Honduras, a phenomenon that has helped to further improve the image of Honduran coffee on an international level.
